Only an hour after posting my question on 'Yahoo Answers' I have my first answer....
..i particularly like the comment
"I think both street art and graffiti have the potential to be great, valid forms of art, so long as they are in fact expressing the artistic nature and ability of the person creating them, not just vandalising a bridge or looking for a quick buck."
